P6/7 have been enjoying lessons from ‘Big House’ helping them take control of their emotional lives, and handle the stresses of life in healthy ways. The stories are illustrated with examples from the bible.
Many, many thanks to everyone who has filled bags for ‘Cash for Clobber’. We are delighted that we have so many bags ready for collection and then to receive a donation to school funds in lieu of (40p / kg).
The children all enjoyed listening to stories as part of celebrations for World Book Day and then used drama to share their interpretations.
We were delighted to be sharing in the joy of stories with children on World Book Day. Children came to school dressed up in some amazing costumes. We also enjoyed sharing these with playgroup and the story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’. Thanks to playgroup staff and children who were our ‘judges’ and to parents for all the hard work preparing costumes.
