P3 had their school trip to Portglenone forest on Wednesday 16th June. They had a super time learning about the different trees and plants. Their guide for the morning was Petra from the Forest Service and she was really impressed by the enthusiasm of all the P3 children.
After lunch time the children enjoyed free play and then Mrs Peden had lots of activities organised. These included:- building animal shelters, making timber hitch knots which they used to make leads for their log pets, owl eyes game, and owl ears game.
